We gotta say, we love Trump for a million reasons but we can’t say that one of them is because he specifically built this place to attract bachelor parties. While it might not be our first choice to stay here it does offer lots of pluses that make it somewhere to check out – especially because the price is usually right and it has options.
Hightlights
Big and Options – the Taj Mahal is big and houses everything that you would look for: nice hotel rooms, a pool (mentioned in our other posts), a club (Casbah) that usually has something going on, some bars located all around the property, and food.
Poker – The Taj Mahal has a midnight madness poker tournament every night. We love the fact that lots of people want to play in a poker tournament at midnight and love going and trying to keep one hand free for the drinks. Note: you’re at a bachelor party so playing poker at midnight might not be the best way to spend your time – don’t worry, they have other tourneys throughout the day.
Location – it’s connected to the Showboat so you have more things to check out even without getting in a cab and it’s on the boardwalk so you can get some guy to pedal cab you to the next place and pay them to race.
Lowlights
Crowd – the crowd is hit or miss. You’re probably not going to run into a lot of groups of girls or party go-ers in the main areas most of the time (Casbah not included). That being said, there’s still plenty of people to have a good time.
Overall, the Taj Mahal is nice and could be a good home base for your bachelor party plan – just don’t expect too much by way of insane stuff happening here (which could also work to your advantage so you don’t make enemies at the hotel you’re staying at). On nights when the clubs and bars are having good stuff going on – the place really comes alive so plan your stay and bachelor party there along with something good.
