The AC Pool Quick Guide (from a bachelor party / group of guys perspective):
Trump Marina – outdoor huge pool, small café w/ booze and food, lots of chairs, not usually busy, the pool crowd reflects the crowd at the place (random mix of cougars, old folks, and a couple young people looking for an affordable place to stay), waitresses, shuffleboard (turn it into a drinking game). Also, don’t forget they have the Deck by the marina – so if you want to be outside and near water (not in it) the Deck is a great alternative with bands, a huge bar and food. Overall – OK spot but not a “scene”.
Chelsea – I’m in Miami bitch! Huge scene during the summer, great cabanas, lots of booze, an outside bar, a regular and a saltwater pool, great place to play “dress the bachelor up as a lotion rub-in guy”, intimate (smaller) so the girls won’t be too far away). Overall, a great place (day and night) and if you want to go to the beach too it has full beach service with towels and food.
Water Club – Wadduuuhh Club! If you don’t know you should be here, I’m not going to tell you. Indoor and outdoor pools, booze, leprechauns, pony rides, day and night, food, Jacuzzis, and everything else. Overall, just go. Check out the pool in the spa too more than thirty floors up overlooking AC.
Borgata - music underwater, booze, food, towels, a fountain of Jack Daniels, lots o’ chairs, a couple hidden Jacuzzis, indoors, palm trees, Borgata people (WOOOO), and music underwater (yes we said it twice). Overall – everything at the Borgata is top notch and great – go, now – all year round!
Harrah’s – indoors – yet outdoor feel, day and night, cabanas, lots of hot tubs (none are time machines), music, waitresses, booze, food, food court right next door. Overall – great year round so well worth it.
More coming soon.
