If you haven't been to AC lately, you've been missing out on the enormous amounts of construction going on throughout the city. Thanks in part to the Revel deciding to open its doors, the other properties in the city have decided to invest in making their locations that much better.
The ultimate winner in all of the AC renovations - you! Newer guest rooms, better clubs with new sound systems and bars, better bars, better dining, new pools and pool parties, new lounges, more casino games... if you name it, someone has probably renovated it.
The largest renovations have been happening at The Borgata, the Golden Nugget Atlantic City, and the Tropicana. Oh yeah, and there is the 2.4 billion dollar project called the Revel.

OK, we don’t really think that you’d be able to get the bachelor away from his bride to be on New Years Eve, but if you were able to, you’d definitely want to be in Atlantic City. AC is pulling out all of the stops for NYE, and it is going to mean some amazing parties for sure. The New Year’s partying is also starting early on 12/29 at Harrah’s where they’re having the Shannon Twins (yes, the Playboy girls) for their Industry NYE party (but anyone can go, and we’ve talked before about how great Industry Nights are). New Years Eve itself has parties at every property, with celebrities up and down the list. You can throw a dart at a list of places in AC and find a good one for NYE, but check with us for the best. If partying on NYE isn’t enough for you, or you just really like adding Porn Stars to your bachelor party or regular party planning then you should also check out Harrah’s on the night of Jan 1st for a party with Sasha Grey. No, not that kind of industry. Every now and again we run into a bachelor with a really “interesting” bride to be as his fiancé. Besides being a royal pain in the ass in his general life she tries to make sure the bachelor party will suck by demanding it be on a weekday night. OK, there’s the odd chance that you also have to throw the party on a weekday because of the bachelor’s work schedule or something. Either way, you’re in luck. Atlantic City has some amazing weeknight partying and the code word for the best partying to look for is Industry Night. If you don’t know what Industry Night is, it’s basically everyone that works at the bars, clubs and casinos during the weekend’s party night. Most of the people you’ll be partying with on a Tuesday night probably would have been serving you on a Saturday. This is great because people who work at the hot spots know how to party and if you think a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday night in AC will be dull – you’re wildly mistaken. The best part about all of this – the crazy fiancé of the bachelor won’t think it’ll be a great party and when you get there you’ll realize that it can rival a good weekend night too. The other great part about Industry Night, it allows you to start the bachelor party on a Wednesday and party straight till Sunday. Top Reasons Why Halloween Weekend is the Best Weekend of the Year for a Bachelor Party
Costumes – Halloween weekend gives every girl the “permission” to get dressed up as slutty as they possibly can. Don’t believe us – type “girl Halloween costume” into Google search and see what comes up. Every costume is designed to be small, show skin, and fulfill every male fantasy out there.
Crowds – go out on a Halloween weekend and you’ll find that just about every place is packed. Sure, this can be a pain if you didn’t get a VIP reservation ahead of time, but if you did it means that the place will be filled up with girls in slutty costumes.
Out Without Your Girlfriend/Wife – because it’s a “holiday” weekend if you try and just go out for a regular party night with your guy friends, your wife or girlfriend is highly likely to be severely pissed off and you’ll end up having to stay in, or not getting laid for months. However, if you get to say, “I want to go out with you but I have to go out with just the guys because it’s a bachelor party” it won’t be your fault and she’ll be much less pissed off (at you at least). Promotion – because of the crowds, and because it’s a holiday weekend pretty much every club will be doing some kind of big promotion to try and attract the largest crowd.
Group Costumes – because you’re going out with a whole bachelor party full of guys this means that you could really get some killer coordinated costumes and really stand out in the crowd. May we suggest the Oompa Loompas (and bring the song on CD to the club and work out the synchronized dance beforehand), teletubbies, superheros, the thriller dancers, "official" mascot costumes like the ones in the pic at the bottom, or the Harlem Globetrotters. Just remember that access to your mouth for drinking purposes is key.
