Every year ACWeekly holds a nightlife awards competition where they let their readers vote for the winners in a number of categories like Best Happy Hour or Best Sports Bar.  While we may not necessarily agree with every winner, we wanted to pass along the list to help get your ideas going.

The reason we said we don’t necessarily agree with all the winners is for two main reasons: this list is not specifically coming from a bachelor party perspective, and because the voting is open to anyone (and only promoted in ACWeekly’s media) it can easily be manipulated or reflect only their reader’s opinions.

So, check out the list below and get your thoughts going – then contact us to keep the ideas going and tailor it to your bachelor party and your group.

Also, we thank you for your votes for Best Promoter Category – they don’t publish the winners of that list – but we do know you voted!  Thanks!

If you listen to Howard Stern on Sirius XM Radio, and you should, you know about Medicated Pete.  If you don’t – close your eyes and picture someone that would make a bachelor party that much more hilarious – the person you’re picturing is Medicated Pete.

After hearing him on the Howard Stern Show again this week we couldn’t help ourselves in talking about how great it would be to have Pete join the party and let you know that he is available.  If you did listen you even heard a story from a caller about Medicated Pete at a recent bachelor party and how the group thought that Pete did an amazing job and totally made their night.

So, for your next Atlantic City Bachelor Party we can help set up Pete to come down and roast the bachelor, MC the party, and show you a bunch of stripper games you never thought of.  Plus, you’ll get to hang out with Pete for the night – he gets our highest seal of approval, so you know it’ll be good.

Give us a shout and we’ll connect you with Pete.

P.S. - we are not trying to insinuate we have any connection w/ the Stern Show, we're just trying to make your bachelor party that much more fucking amazing and get Pete some work in the mean time.

With all the snow on the ground, it’s easy to start day dreaming about Summer 2011 in Atlantic City.  Well, while we were day dreaming we took some notes and put down just some of the things we’d like to see in town this summer.  Bachelor parties are already amazing here, and these would just help that much more.

Again, an even better pool party – we mentioned it in our previous post:  Our Wishlist for Atlantic City in 2011, but it’s worth mentioning again.  Let’s go casino/hotels – let’s see some crazy partying at the pools.  Chelsea has stepped up as well as some others – let’s really blow it up for Summer 2011.

Beach Bar Blowouts – why are the amazing beach bars in AC not packed every minute of the day?  Let’s figure that out, and make it happen.  Bring a damn craps table and some slots out there too.  Wouldn’t it be great if your cabana at the beach bar had a slot machine?  Also, move them closer to the water (or put some baby pools there) – the goal should be to replace the experience of sitting on the beach, not to replace the experience of sitting in an inside bar.  Leverage the amenities (ocean) of where the beach bar is located.

Free Concerts on the Beach – when I was way too young I remember going to a free Beach Boys concert on the beach in Atlantic City with my parents.  Why’s this good for bachelor parties – because the only thing I remember about that concert was some lady showing her boobs to try and get on stage.  Free concerts bring fun people; fun people make for good bachelor parties.  Enough said.

Adult Convention / Parties – why does the annual Exxxotica convention happen in Edison, NJ after the summer?  Bring it to AC during the summer; let’s heat this town up with a great convention that will bring in the crowds.  They’d be happy to have it in AC – they keep almost getting kicked out of Edison.

Easier Jet Ski or Boat Rentals – will someone please rent us a jet ski right off of The Deck at Trump Marina or off of the beach/boardwalk.  That damn marina is an amazing spot that’s underused.   While we’re at it – hey Borgata and Harrah’s – build a walkway and water amusement on the Bay right outside your hotels.

Bikinis Everywhere – well, maybe not everyone – but please make the new summer uniform (indoors and out) bikinis.  It works at night at Harrah’s pool – why hasn’t Hooters switched uniforms yet?

Volleyball Championships – let’s get the women’s volleyball championships to AC this year.  Have you ever seen volleyball girls?  Plus, it’s a great warm up for the in‐room entertainment to see girls slapping each other’s asses after a point.

Hawaiian Tropic Anything – there’s a restaurant in NY and pageants across the world.  Let’s get either to Atlantic City this summer.

So that’s the start – what are your ideas for a great summer in Atlantic City?   AC has gotten a lot of great news lately and the above list would make it just that much better.

While everyone is busy the first two weeks of January living out their resolutions for the new year, we thought we’d share some of our wishes for Atlantic City in 2011.   AC is an amazingly perfect town for a bachelor party, and these ideas will only make it better.  What’s good for Atlantic City is good for Bachelor Parties in Atlantic City.   Not every idea will be directly related to bachelor parties – but it’ll sure help them out.
  • Governor Chris Christie’s Plans – If you haven’t heard yet, the Governor has some big plans for AC and we want them to be implemented as quick as possible.  Basically, he’s trying to help bring even more people and excitement to the city and we want it to succeed.  Sure, he is focusing on more family things first – but it’ll benefit all of us in the end.
  • More Collaboration Between Hotels – We need all the properties and companies to tart working together to make the city even better.  Sure, competition is sure to help everyone keep surpassing each other, but with the state AC is in right now the best thing to do is pool all the resources together and make AC the winner – not just one property.
  • An Even Better Pool Party – Throw a really amazing pool party every week during the summer.   Get an insane resident DJ and really make it great.   Harrah’s and Water Club started the trend last year; let’s turn it up big time this summer.
  • Make the Pier Better – Caesar’s Pier is a great place that hasn’t yet reached its full potential.  Except for the 3rd floor, we’d say the place has probably only reached 20% of its potential.   Also, what the hell is that fountain show at the end of the pier – kill it immediately and make it something worthwhile (like the only 3 floor go-kart track in the world or an indoor bungee jump).   If the Pier isn’t packed head to toe every weekend you should get the hint that there’s too much potential not yet explored.
  • Black Card Lounges for More People – We understand you should have a level of service different for your higher level players.  However, wouldn’t you want to also treat the newer / lower level players or hotel guests great too?   Make the current Black Card and Premier Lounges open to anyone with any comp level whatsoever.  As the new members enjoy the service and great amenities of those lounges, they’ll like your hotel and casino more and hence come there more often and spend more money – circle of life.

Those are just a few of the initial ideas.  Yeah, they’re not specifically for bachelor parties (that list is coming soon), but we think it’s important that AC get’s an idea of what we’re thinking.   That being said – we still believe that Atlantic City is one of the greatest destinations in the world for your bachelor party and we’ve enjoyed partying in this town for many, many years and will be here for many more.

Since this weekend is the season finale of the TV show Boardwalk Empire, we thought we’d like to remind you of how to throw a Boardwalk Empire Bachelor Party.   Not a ton has changed from when we wrote that first post – right after the first couple episodes, but we’ve added some more things below to really help you recreate this season in your next bachelor party.

You’ll need to come up with a few different teams for the guys in the bachelor party.  Some will represent New York, some Chicago, and a couple of Philly guys.  Of course, the Atlantic City crew will win in the end, but having team oriented games or contests at the bachelor party could lead to some great fun.  After all, who doesn’t want to watch a Chicago vs. AC whip cream race showdown, or see who takes the title in the Boardwalk Empire Beer Pong Tourney?

You’ll also want to invite your most insanely responsible, never has done anything wrong in his life friend that you normally wouldn’t invite to a crazy weekend.  If the IRS agent in the show has taught us anything it’s that the ones that appear the most responsible and holy are usually the craziest of all.

However you’re choosing to recreate the best elements of the show for your bachelor party the most important thing is just doing it.  No one likes a bachelor party that never gets planned or executed.  Need help, contact us.

Just a quick follow up to our last post.  We think December Bachelor Parties are great because of the costume possibilities (not to mention it's the only time of the year you can start singing a Christmas Carol in a crowded bar and folks will join in).

Well, to further enhance your experience and educate you in how to do it right, we thought we'd point you to one of the best events out there in terms of doing the Santa thing right.

Take their wisdom, ideas and carol song books and incorporate them into your December bachelor party.

Santacon
There's not an "official" one in Atlantic City yet.... notice we said YET.  Start it.

Don't forget your Santa bag,

What better month to celebrate a bachelor party than December.   Atlantic City is all decked out in its best holiday decorations, the casinos have great promotions going on, and most of all - girls are just waiting to sit on Santa's lap.

Based off that last comment you must know what we're gonna say next.  Throw a Santa-theme bachelor party in December in Atlantic City and you'll be sure to find out who's on the naughty list.

There's no better feeling than being in a Santa suit as you throw back shots of Jack and throw the hard ways all day on the craps table.  Imagine that, then times it by 12 which are all the guys in the party.

Hey, maybe just the groom is Santa and the rest of the party are elves and reindeer.  The possibilities are endless.

So, contact us and throw the best damn holiday bachelor party you've ever dreamed of.

Ho Ho Ho (yeah, you'll find those too),

Eat the turkey, stuff the stuffing in your face then get down to AC for a 3 day weekend bachelor party.  We know you probably have off that Friday for Thanksgiving and besides standing in line on Black Friday morning there’s really nothing else you should be using your 3 day weekend (minus Thanksgiving Day) for other than a crazy bachelor party in Atlantic City.

We did some research and found out that the first Thanksgiving was actually one of the first recorded bachelor parties ever and was in fact a celebration of one of the pilgrim’s marrying some hot Indian woman.  So, the group started the 4 day bachelor party with a big meal and bringing everyone together to share stories and try to convince the groom not to go through with it.

Take a cue from the pilgrim’s and throw a multi-day party complete with everything that makes a bachelor party great.  We know that if the pilgrim’s and indian’s had to do it over again they’d head down the east coast to Jersey and party it up in Atlantic City.

If you want to make it a real Thanksgiving bachelor party, may we suggest the following:  shot races with shots of turkey gravy, pin the tail on the turkey (the turkey being the strippers and the tail being stickers of the bachelor’s face), giving thanks (by praying to the porcelain god), and lots of family (the kind of family you actually want to spend a couple days with – your friends).

If all else fails just make sure that anytime the bachelor says gobble gobble someone goes and gets him a beer.

Gobble, Gobble,

Mike – Atlantic City Bachelor Party

If you’re bachelor is a huge fan of the outdoors, you’re probably wondering how to work in some outside activities into his winter bachelor party.    Then you start to look up the weather for Atlantic City and realize that winter in AC is a little bit cold during certain months.  So, we’re here to tell you that even though it’s cold outside, you can still find plenty of outdoor activities to make the bachelor party great.

Fishing – the party boats may be docked but the deep sea fish still are waiting for you to come and haul them in.  You may think it’ll be cold on a boat in the middle of the ocean – but with enough whiskey even the coldest days are toasty.

Surfing – you’ll need a really good wetsuit, but winter brings some massive waves to the Jersey Shore.  Don’t blame us if you didn’t use a thick enough wetsuit.  Have your friends waiting on the beach with Asian massage girls to rub your body warm again.

Snowball Fight – yeah, why the hell not?  If it’s snowing, get your big group together and get a snowball fight going.   Use the benches and other stuff along the boardwalk as forts and set up a winter version of a paintball game.   When’s the last time all your friends we’re together and you could have a snowball fight?

Bonus List:  Sledding off of the boardwalk or casino ramps in the snow, polar bear plunge in the ocean (great cure for a hangover), and taking bets on which car driving down the street will slide off the road or get stuck in the snow.

Besides the list above, outdoor winter activities in Atlantic City are great because no matter what your beer doesn’t get warm.   Plus, the cops will have a lot harder time chasing you down the side streets as you have to run away.
