Bachelor parties can range from super cheap to super expensive.  If a friend of yours owns a fleet of helicopters and your other buddy happens to be in an open relationship with 12 strippers then you pretty much can throw an amazing party for free.  For the rest of us, here’s some specific ideas for how to throw a cheap bachelor party.  Let’s be clear too: cheap bachelor party doesn’t mean low quality.  In fact, what we should call this is – where to spend a lot and where to spend a little on your bachelor party.  Also, because we’re focused on Atlantic City, some of the ideas will be specific to AC.

Things to Save Money On At A Bachelor Party

Transportation – limos and party buses are great – but basically you’re overpaying.  Now, we don’t mean that in all cases but in Atlantic City’s case – everything is pretty much next to each other and/or you’ll be able to do everything you ever wanted all within one of the great hotels.   Once you step inside the Borgata or Harrah’s (and some others) there is no need for transportation anywhere.   Also, limos and party buses mean you’re on a schedule.  This isn’t work time – this is fun time so being on a schedule shouldn’t be part of the plan.   Cabs can get you anywhere in AC quickly and are always waiting at the front door of the hotel.

Drinks – buying a bottle or many bottles for a VIP nightlife package may seem like a lot of money at first, but a little quick math proves this is the best idea you can have.  A drink at a good club can easily be 10 bucks.  Multiply that by how many every member of your party will drink that night and it can be very expensive.  Have you ever measured how many drinks you can get out of 1 bottle – lots!  So, buy a bottle – this is the saving money reason to do it – not to mention all the other perks of VIP.

Girls – get a reputable provider who tells you all the costs up front and doesn’t have any hidden fees.  When you get a quote make sure that includes the stripper show and isn’t just a fee for them showing up to your place and if you want them to get naked it’s more money.  Yeah, that happens with many of the lower quality and shady providers that spring up in classified ad sites and yellow pages.

Planning – the more you plan the more you’ll know about where to go and what to do.   Is 250 bucks a night a good price for that hotel room?  You won’t know unless you compare a couple places and times – do your planning.  Also, the further you plan ahead of time the better.  Everything works on supply and demand and as it gets closer to your party the supply goes down, demand goes up and therefore price goes up.  The VIP that used to cost 300 is now 700 – it happens, book early and avoid it.

Things Not to Save Money On At A Bachelor Party

Same list as above – yeah, we think you should try and save money wherever you can.  However, don’t be an idiot and think you’re going to get everything for free or near it.  Extremely hot girls, or the most popular clubs, or the best hotels have 1,000 people just waiting to take your spot on their calendar.  The best thing you can do is work with us and plan and book early to make sure you’re getting the best deals

Anything for the Bachelor – he’s the reason you’re here, he’s the one on the way to get married.  Make sure everyone in the party knows that it’s their job to make sure the bachelor has a great time and in most cases doesn’t pay for anything.   Then, make sure he knows the same thing when it’s your turn to play bachelor.

Steak – eat a good steak if you’re going to make a steak dinner part of the festivities.  Don’t have a “formal” dinner if you aren’t going to splurge on the best steak you can find.

There you have it, some good things to think about when you’re trying to figure out how to save money at a bachelor party.   The best thing for you is that you’re looking into an Atlantic City Bachelor Party which means you’re in the right spot for a great time and not being too expensive.  Contact us and we’ll work out the rest.

Take a good look just above the high heel of any good stripper and you’ll see one of the most important parts of their outfit – the huge wad of cash rubber banded to their ankle.   After years and years of painstaking research we’ve learned something very valuable: tips make strippers happy.     We’ve also learned that, the happier the stripper the better the bachelor party.

The right way to tip is different whether you’re having the party in a strip club or having the strippers come to you (which is the method we much more highly recommend).   So, let’s talk about the best way to tip your Atlantic City Strippers.

First things first – make sure everyone at the party knows that they should be tipping the girls.  Also, if you’re an incredibly smart best man you’ll also make sure that you stopped at the bank before the party and load up on dollar bills that you’ll trade to the guys in the party.

Secondly, you don’t want to just throw all your money out all at once.  Let the girls get warmed up, start dishing out the dollars a little bit after they get started and make sure that between you and the rest of the guys you keep peppering the girls with bills for as long as you can.   If the girls see that 1) you’re throwing money out little by little and 2) that there’s a nice wad of bills in your hand they’ll keep going for a longer period of time.

There’s also plenty of creative ways to tip so make sure to work with your girls to come up with the most interesting.  There’s always the frontal squeeze where you hold the bill in your mouth and the girl squeezes her boobs together to get it.  Don’t forget about the sticky wicky where you lay down with a bill on your mouth and a girl has to find something wet to sit on you with and take it off your mouth (wash your face after the show).   Have a contest with the guys to see who can come up with the best way.

If you get girls that are fun enough (and that’s the type of bachelor party stripper we specialize in so contact us) you’ll also have the chance to play lots of fun games like hide the lollipop or whip cream races.  If you really want to have some fun, set up a tournament board and work with us on our “special games”.

Remember, the happier the stripper – the happier you’ll be.  So, contact us and book your in-room Atlantic City Strippers for the best entertainment you could get.

When you work with a company like ours, you can be sure you’re getting the best possible pricing for everything you could want in Atlantic City.  That being said in our experience we know that being the one that’s organizing the bachelor party means that you have to put up with a bunch of guys that are going to be asking you about the package cost all the time.

Here are a few tips as you come up with the cost you want to charge each of the guys coming to the bachelor party.
  • Give them a ballpark price early so they can start putting away money and give you a level of commitment, tell them it’s just a ballpark and will be refined as time goes on.
  • Tell them that the pricing changes based on the number of guys coming so the more they commit to whether they’re coming or not, the better you can estimate costs.
  • Make sure the groom/bachelor knows nothing about what the party costs – he’s the reason you’re all going so he should go for free
  • Make sure the bachelor/groom’s cost is split between everyone else
  • Work with us to get one complete price, in a bachelor party package, for whatever you want to do
  • Collect as much money as you can early
  • Collect and ask for a bit more than you think you need because it’s good to have a buffer – if you’ve collected too much give it back to the guys right before the strippers walk in so they can use it for tips or drinks later on.
We know pricing out a bachelor party sucks and it sucks more when you have 12 guys asking you a bunch of questions about it.  Use the tips above to help make it suck a little less.

In this post we’ll help you save money by looking at your bachelor party package budget and one of the main areas that drives the overall cost – the place to stay.  Don’t worry, we think where you stay can be important, so we won’t just say stay at the crappiest place you can find – 10 miles outside of town.

Instead, here are 4 ways to save money on your overall bachelor party package costs:

Timing – saving money is all about timing.  Want to do it in the middle of summer or a holiday – expect to pay more.  Instead, focus on off-season times and when there are fewer crowds.  In Atlantic City you can always find great hotel and casino room rates but winter is when some of the best rates get released.

Discounts – Anybody in your group from the military, anyone in Triple A, anyone have comps?  Make sure to check with the entire group that may be going to the bachelor party before you go to book the rooms.   Don’t forget to look for group rates or the group planning office too if you’re gonna need more than 3-4 rooms.

Calling – We think online hotel reservation sites are amazing (see next list item), but if you did find some discounts within the group, or you’re a very smooth talker, try giving an actual call to the property you want to stay at.  You’ll be able to get more firsthand info. on other ways to save for your trip, what weekends might be cheaper, or just use your charm to convince the agent on the phone to lower your rate.

Online – check everywhere online.  The hotel or casino websites are a good place to start but don’t forget about the specialty sites like Expedia or Kayak.   After you’ve checked those and have a good idea – head over to Priceline or some of the other hotel room discounters to see if you could score even cheaper rates.

Those are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to saving money on rooms for your AC Bachelor Party.  The best way to make sure you’re going to save the most money is to keep doing your homework and looking and then when you think you’ve found a good deal – lock it in.

Lots of people ask us for ways to save money on a bachelor party.  Luckily, we’re experts in that area and usually can help them find a ton of ways to watch their costs and still get the most amazing experience.   One of the ways you can probably do this on your own – using casino promotions.

You probably already have heard of the word comps and you’re wondering how to get them.  One of the most important things to know about getting comps is that they’re given out very differently depending on what casino you’re in.   We don’t want to get sued so we won’t say which one is better than the other (because their formulas are all complex and hidden so we just know what we think – not what’s fact) but we can show you how to come up with your own guesses.

Check out the casino promos section on AC Weekly which lists all the latest casino promotions. It gets updated (the link is for a specific week) based on the latest promos so be sure to check it out for what might suit you best.

Unfortunately, we’re still a little upset that no casino has offered to give out strippers as comps – but maybe one day.   Also, you can work with us to find out ways to save and remember that the Borgata has their nightlife rewards program that rewards you for your nighttime activities…. BAM!

We want you to have all the money you can to throw at strippers so we’ll give you some pointers about how you can keep your bachelor party package budgets under control.   We’ve done some previous posts on budgets for your bachelor party so be sure to check them out as well.

The first good thing you’ve got going for you is that you’re doing the party in Atlantic City, NJ.  AC is an amazing place that won’t break the bank.   Sure, NYC is fun – but the $18 dollar drinks in every bar aren’t and Vegas is amazing – but the $40 dollar lap dances suck.   In Atlantic City you’ll be able to pull off a bachelor party without the super expensive drinks or outrageously priced dances.

The key part about keeping you bachelor party package budgets under control is to approach it as a package.   If you work with the right planner (hint: that’s us – the bachelor party planning pros) you’ll be able to get package deals on things instead of buying everything individually.   Why do you think everyone orders the value meal at McDonald’s, because it’s cheaper than buying everything individually.  So, if you want to throw a great bachelor party that still is very affordable make sure to try and book things together through one provider, or just call us and say “give me the number 3”.

Are you getting a lot of crap from some of the other party-goers that they’re worried about how much the bachelor party in AC is going to cost?   First off, screw them.  Secondly, here’s some ideas on how you could try and keep costs down.   You can still throw a very crazy bachelor party and not have to break the bank… you just have to make sure you don’t get caught stealing (just kidding… but not really).

So – here’s a couple ideas to keep the cost down for your AC bachelor parties:
  • Have one person in charge of ordering when you get VIP service.  Getting VIP is usually the most affordable way to go within the club (along with a ton of other benefits), the only way we’ve seen (first hand unfortunately) it get out of control and end up costing too much is when other drunk people start asking for stuff that they shouldn’t.   I know of one party where one of the guys that hardly knew anyone ended up ordering a case of red bull and when it came out as regular he ordered another case of sugar free.   Do you even have an idea how much a can, let alone a case, of red bull is in a club.
  • Order in bulk. This sort of goes along with VIP where you’re ordering your drinks and entrance in bulk – but it also applies in the pre-game alcohol ordering, any food ordering if you’re somewhere you’ll need to provide food, and any kind of tickets to events, etc.. Group rates and bulk usually work out as a nice deal (and we can get you major group rates just about everywhere)
  • Charge people you don’t like more.   Hey, if you’ll never see them again because it’s some ass from your buddy’s work – charge him a couple bucks more than the other guys.  We won’t tell.
  • Get your money up front and ask for just a bit more than you expect.  You’ll need it and you’ll spend it – most people put together the money list and forget shit like tipping, tax, emergency catheters, etc..

Those are just a few ideas and there’s a ton more.  We’ll keep updating you and in the meantime check out our “budget” section with other posts.  Also, remember that hiring a pro like us will get you discounts you won’t usually find or get on your own.

I don’t know if there’s a question that gets asked more than this one.   Knowing how much a bachelor party will end up costing is as hard to figure out as trying to figure out why people watch Dancing with the Stars.

Of course, the easy answer is that the cost is in direct relation to whatever it is you’re doing, where you’re doing it, and when you’re doing it.   Going at a certain time of year could cost more or less, choosing one place over another will influence the cost, and it even gets as tricky as knowing exactly which time to show up somewhere to get in free vs. having a major charge.

The advice that we give that has worked for the most number of parties is to watch your costs carefully using some type of spreadsheet (or just let us do it for you when you contact us) that has a detailed breakdown of every possible cost, the number of people, and keeping track of how much people pay you and what you owe the places you’ll be going.

Before you start planning too much of the party it’s a good idea to feel out an idea of what people that will be coming are willing to pay.  The worst stories we have heard from bachelor parties are the ones that involve problems with the money (and that story from this one guy that thought the hooker was a girl and it wasn’t).    Knowing whether or not your group is going to be able to afford 50 or 500 bucks a person makes a HUGE difference in what you should be looking to do.

So, while we can’t provide a definitive one size fits all answer to the question – how much does it cost to have a bachelor party in AC we can tell you a few things.   First, of many of the places you can go for a bachelor party – AC is a great idea because it is very affordable.  Second, you’ll want to ask/tell guys for more than you think you’re going to need, because you’ll use it somehow.  Third, you can save a TON of money by doing a lot of prep work, knowing certain things, and working with a pro that has been solving the money problems for hundreds if not thousands of parties (hint: that’s us).

There aren’t many things in the world that get people as worked up as money.  You want to make the bachelor party as enjoyable as possible, and as open as possible to as many of the bachelor’s friends that can/want to make it.   One of the things that sometimes holds people back from coming is the fear that they’ll have to spend a ton of money.  Here’s some things you can do to ease their pain – and throw a great party while being careful on how much each person HAS to spend.    *We specifically said HAS to spend because that’s the key.  A person HAS to pay cover to get in a place but doesn’t HAVE to pay for $10 dollar drinks.  You’ll see more of what we talked about next.

The list:
  • Group rates on everything: ask your hotel, airline, whomever if they have a group rate for a certain number of people
  • Collect money in increments: asking someone for 200 bucks at once with 5 days to get it to you is hard.  Asking for a 50 dollar deposit, then another 50 a month later, and so one makes people happier to pay.  Think about it as a stripper lay away plan.
  • Pay attention to time:  some places only start charging a cover after a certain time.  Stop by early, get your stamp, then go back later – easily saves 20-40 bucks per guy some places.
  • Pre-game: a no-brainer for some but make sure you’ve set up enough of a pre-game so you get some drinks in you before you leave
  • Bottle Service: as much as a bottle of vodka may seem in a VIP area, when you do the math it can work out much cheaper for your group (not to mention the ton of other benefits)
  • Time of Year: a hotel (and lots of other stuff) in a beach type location costs anywhere from 30-50% less one to four weeks before or after the summer than it does between memorial and labor day.
  • Hire a Pro: we guarantee we can get you better rates and you’ll spend a lot less for the same thing than you would get on your own (and you wouldn’t be able to get many of the things anyway).   We have relationships and knowledge that allow us to make sure you’ll get the best rates on everything and will be able to give you tons of ideas on how to make your money go further.
There’s never a one size fits all budget for a bachelor party. Depending on what ideas you have for the party and a million other factors, Atlantic City can be your best friend or your worst enemy money wise.  Overall, because you’ve planned an Atlantic City Bachelor Party, you’ll be getting a lot for your money.   Also, beware of one of the main areas where many people get screwed on getting their money’s worth – the “entertainment”.  Pay special attention to the money there.

You may of asked yourself this question – and if not, someone will ask you along the way.  Well, here’s just a few of the reasons we like to say Atlantic City is one of the best ideas and locations for your next bachelor party.   We’ll elaborate even more throughout the later posts so keep reading on.

1) It’s at the beach (down the shore)
Do I need to say much else?   Well, while recovering from massive hangovers there’s no better cure than being by a beach, falling asleep on a towel and salt air.  Oh, and did we mention bikinis, beach bars, tanning (the ever important T in GTL, and a nice memento of your trip besides the herpes) surfing, body boarding, midnight streaking into the ocean and what better line to say to a girl than “want to go for a walk on the beach” (not that advocate breaking from the bachelor party).

2) Options
-AC provides options – options of where to eat, where to stay, what to play, what to do, what types of people to run into, what types of bars or clubs to go to and what type of entertainment you’re seeking.  Atlantic City offers it all for your bachelor party.   In the same night (or 45 minutes if you’re good) you can be having a beer with Caeser, get some pints of Guiness at an Irish Pub and end up spraying the crowd with champagne at a high end club.

3) It’s Affordable
I don’t want to do a direct comparison to some other places but it is wayyyy more affordable than most when you’re looking at places with similar hotel / bar / club / partying / stripper / bail / etc. options.  Also, since it is within driving distance (or train) it automatically cuts travel out of the budget – well… it moves the travel money over to increase the lap dance money let’s say.   Dollar for dollar you’ll get more bachelor party in AC for your money.

Those were just the first 3 reasons we put down.  There are plenty more, and we’ll help show you them at AtlanticCity-BachelorParty.com

Thanks,
Mike – AC Bachelor Party
